ZCAS University Student Hub

A centralised digital home for student life at ZCAS University: everything happening on campus, in one place.

The problem

Student information at ZCAS was scattered across WhatsApp groups, word of mouth, and physical noticeboards, so things got missed, delayed, or communicated inconsistently.

The ZCAS University Student Union (ZUSU) proposed a Student Hub: one official, structured space where every student can find academic life, leadership, support services, activities, and institutional communication. I’m designing and building the entire product from that brief, turning a proposal into a working platform.

My role

→Translating the ZUSU proposal into product architecture and a full information hierarchy

→Designing the interface and the ten content sections end to end

→Building authentication and access with Laravel so every student can log in

→Modelling the data with MySQL and Redis, and building the front-end in Vue 3 and Inertia.js
